I got the order confirmation email Saturday afternoon. It states a total cost of $265.61. I am porting my number over from T-Mobile and have yet to setup a Sprint account(or don't know how to access it) , so I have no idea what that total actually includes... but I know that is more than it should be...
Also, the email says Overnight shipping. So, I'm hoping to receive the phone sometime today(6/27).

Got email shipping confirmation on the 25th. Shipped overnight (but excluding Sundays) Item should arrive today (27th).
Card was charged ~$223 (Assuming this was cost + tax - the bill was not itemized at all)
I will try to report back here once I get the phone in my hands and attempt to set up my new account /sign up for Carrier-Switch Credit.
Was just wondering what I need to do for the StudentRate rebates. I signed up for the $50 credit + $35 rebate (on top of the $125 carrier promo)

Did WE select what type of shipping? I cant remember. Because you guys are saying you got overnight shipping, mine says priority 2-3 day mail.

First of all, promising overnight shipping then saying we don't get it because of the weekend makes no logical sense at all. With overnight, it could have arrived saturday or monday, with the 2-3 day shipping that makes it anywhere between monday and wednesday. Maybe you shouldn't promise overnight when people plan their schedules around the phone (currently out of town but have to wait for the phone to get here to head back home).
Second, are you going to address any of the other issues like how/when we get our credit and what all the extra charges are for and why we were not notified about them while preordering. I assume you've done deals with Sprint before so not knowing about the extra charges is unlikely and not telling us is just inappropriate.

the extra charges in terms of shipping -- if the member was charged we will be reimbursing them (we will add this to the rebates) and we are working with the sprint authorized person to get the list. second on working with sprint before and should have known on the charges -- you will be surprised ( i wont say any more on this).

aware of that situation -- it looks like there was a security lock on the account. I am glad your parents are getting the phone and will be shipping it to you. cant change security policies of sprint :)

also shipping seems to be 2-3 days instead of overnight :/
looking forward to receiving the phone, though
Anyone else extremely annoyed by this? I mean, I preordered on here due to the money it would be saving and after all the costs it ends up being about the same as the phone (assuming that we'll eventually get our $35 rebate). Preordering from Wifefly would have been way easier and apparently cheaper. Also, not getting the overnight shipping. So looks like ordering through this site got me nothing promised, hopefully a mod can come in and help explain things.
Im pretty annoyed by this as well, wirefly would of been cheaper.....
Mine came in at $253.. pfft
The EVO 3D deal gave you the option to choose Wirefly and still get the discount. I pre-ordered mine through Wirefly

we are not blaming anyone -- sprint will not ship the phone to a location that is other than what the address is on the account. they are talking to one another see what happened (keep in mind we did not process the order we just entered them it is sprint that processes the order) and how they can rectify. hope this helps.

Thats false. Sprint will ship it anywhere requested and I have just confirmed this. According to sprint there is no reason why the phone couldnt have been sent to my place of residence. No security locks, nothing. ( I have all the security codes anyway).
I just want to know what happened so I can prevent this. But no one can give me a solid answer. I will get to the bottom of it.

My phone arrived as expected yesterday.
I'm still working on getting my number ported over from Verizon, then I'll look into getting the $125 port credit.
How/when do the student rate discounts arrive?
These are the credits I speak of (from the StudentRate email I used to pre-order):
$35.00 StudentRate Rebate
$50.00 Account Credit
Also, how do I go about getting the student discount on my monthly bill?

I haven't received a confirmation e-mail, a tracking number, or anything like that. I've only gotten the e-mail with the instructions yesterday.

I received my phone Monday. Activated it, ported my number over from T-Mobile, and submitted my request for the $125 port credit. I have heard nothing no received any email regarding the $35 rebate, the $50 credit, or the monthly student discount.
This whole transaction has been more than a little confusing.

So...has anyone else that pre-ordered the Evo 3D still haven't received their phones or an e-mail, or is it just me? That would be my luck to be the only that had this to not go smoothly.
