All Epic orders for new sprint customers have been processed and confirmations should have been received. Epic upgrades for already existing customers have been submitted and waiting to be processed by Sprint. To thank everyone for their patience there are no mail in rebates required as they were issued instantly ($100.00 off instantly). Some EVO orders were fulfilled and the device became out of stock. Will process the rest EVO orders as the device becomes available as we do not anticipate this shortage will last. Again these orders will receive instant rebate so no mail in rebate required ($100.00 off instantly). We are continuing on taking Epic & EVO orders there are no inventory issues with the Epic, however, due to a technical glitch it does not appear on our studentrate sprint web site. Consequently we will be processing these orders manually here at studentrate so please fill out the order fom and send it to epic@studentrate.com. Because of this inconvenience all those that send the forms in up until the device becomes available will receive the rebates ($100.00 off instantly) will be taken off instantly. The StudentRate rebate and the free accessories will be mailed within 6-8 weeks of the order processing. I thank everyone for their patience. Your StudentRate team!!!

That sounds great! I have not received confirmation yet though. I know the phone being late was not studentrates fault, but they still try to make it up to us. Thank you!

I think existing customers should have been processed first! Just my opinion!

*sighs*
Well, at least this explains why I haven't gotten a confirmation email for my EVO in either of my email accounts and it's nearly nine at night eastern time. I know that the EVO running out of stock AGAIN isn't SR's fault, and the instant rebate is a bonus, serving to keep me from getting really mad, but I'm still becoming a bit irritated here.
* keeps waiting*

At least this explains why the ones that haven't gotten the email aren't so excited. Well, Alex delivers the news so I'm glad he's up to date with all of this. You're the man alex! Now I shall sleep and wait for that email.

all my thanks to studentrate but it sucks that i've been waiting almost 2 months for the evo to become available and when it is finally available from sprint.com i still can't get it because of the agreement to pay when studentrate gets the phone. doesn't seem like the back order did much because it was available and sold out again and i still can't get it...sucks but whatever, more waiting... seriously though, thank you studentrate for eliminating the mail in rebate it just sucks having to wait more

YOu need to use the forms for Epic and EVO only. If you are buying everything else just buy direct online using the link on the deal

Here is to you guys. My take on the situation came true and I won a dollar. That is the joke. How to make a bad company look good -- StudentRate you guys have done just that. Alexthemann and Julie (she does sound very sweet by the way) -- Thanks. Awesome Job.

is it worth doing it by the form or do you think this will be resolved before it sells out?

I would definitely do the form. The technical glitch is on the Sprint side so I don't know if it will be fixed within a day especially with the labor day. We probably are looking at next week.

im not sure how this would work Just fill out the form for the epic and in the body mention the other phones by model #. When Julie or George calls to obtain payment info please mention the situation they will take care of it.

HOw many EVO orders were fulfilled? Is it safe to say that the coupon number that we entered into the offer/coupon field is in order of whom d/l and submitted the form first? This is getting extremely infuriating with Sprint. I'm just not getting it anymore as to what the deal is with them and they can't even get Studentrate orders fulfilled. Sorry, I'm just kinda boggled by all of this now.

Ok, let me see if I'm reading right.
Is the $100 in place of the mail in rebate Sprint has on those phones (the one that makes them $249.99)? So our up front phone cost will be $249.99 each instead of the $349.99? Will we still get the $50 credit per line and the $25 per line rebate?
I'm probably the only person who isn't getting it but it's 2am and I'm kind of frustrated over this whole situation.

I'm probably the only person who isn't getting it but it's 2am and I'm kind of frustrated over this whole situation. For me and I'm sure many others, the $100 rebate wasn't required. It's an instant saving of $150 off the phone and $100 web-special. $499.99 - $150.00 - $100.00 = $249.99 +tax. I'm sure you do get the $50 credit/line because I did. If I am not mistaken, the $25 rebate and charger/shield should be mailed out in a few weeks after the purchase.

Alex, Thank you for facilitating the studentrate sprint discount. Simple process, $100 instant discount vs. rebate, $50 new line discount (spread over 2 invoices), SR $25 rebate, free car charger or screen protector and deeper than expected recurring service discount. Confirmation from Sprint with shipping info that indicates delivery on 9/3. You're awesome, just wish your other customers had a bit more faith and patience, they'll get over their BLUES - you deliver! Cheers
