So I have a couple of questions before biting on this deal.

1) Are we still supposed to use the pre-order form even though it's no longer a pre-order?

2) If I ordered the Epic today what would be a realistic estimate for when it would arrive?

3) I opened up the order form but Adobe is giving me a message that I can't save anything I type into the boxes in the form. Any fix for this?

4) I'm not a current Sprint customer, however I have been in to talk to them and they set up a basic account where it already has a pin, credit check done, etc. What part of the form would I fill out since I already (sort of) have an account but I'm not really a customer.

Oh yeah, he has the everything data 450. Would we have to switch to a shared plan, or jus add a line for 9.99? I know this is a for sure thing we want to do either way. I would just like to know how we should go about this as it seems it would be a lengthy process. I am also pretty sure he would have to start his 2 year contract over, would he have to pay a cancellation fee for the contract he is in now? What's the best way we should go about this? I hope you can hook this up, as I can see what an amazing job you are already doing Alex!

Thanks,
Robert

Sorry about the delay in responding. Because the technical issue on our studentrate sprint sites we are still taking the epic orders via the form and processing them manually, this glitch we have been told will be fixed by Friday. You need the right version of adobe if it is not letting you save it just copy the form and send it in to us in an ms word format.

just fill out the form with your sprint username and password or include it in your email and we will take care of the rest.

Hey guys,

First off, I just wanted to say everything worked out well! Phone was received and number was ported over from Verizon within an hour!

Quick question (not sure if this was asked already or not), but is the car charger/shield shipping separately? Or were we supposed to get it with the phone?

Thanks!

I believe it's 6-8 weeks from when phone was ordered that you receive the car charger or shield.

It should be pretty hard to go through the Epic. The screen is Gorilla Glass. That stuff is extremely tough to scratch up.

I see the epic is up on the site now, but it's listed at $250 and the $50 and $25 credit codes don't work to get it down to $175. I just keep getting the message of
"The promotional code does not apply to any items in your shopping cart. Check the code and try again. "

Any fix for this?

Quick update. I was trying it on a family plan which the SAVE50 code did not work on. I tried to apply it to the Everything 450 plan (single line) and it worked. So does this not work for two line family plans?

And after re-reading it sounds like the studentrate code is manual and we receive that in a check in 6-8 weeks with the accessory?

Just trying to get this done! Thanks!

it should work for the family plan as well. and you are right the studentrate code is manual and enter that where it says company/organization code and dont worry about the state.

nah nah nah you funny, it dont work like that. you pay 350. 100$ rebate check from sprint right off the back. the save 50 is invoice credit, u will see that split up in 25$ sections. i just opened 3 lines for example, they gave me 150$ credit. then the student rate rebate, in 6-8 they will mail you a check for 25$xlines once they confirmed your thing exists. so for me my epic costed me 25$- sprint buying back my env2 for 20$, my epic costed me 5$ plus 56$ taxes. my plan is family plan, 120.08+10$ for 4g + taxes and whatnot probably around 150

Thanks studentrate!

you will get the shield within 6-8 weeks. the 100 should have been taken off for all orders that were placed prior to today.

no mater is a great deal Thanks Alex and studentrate

if they lower the price, people will justdo the smart thng and return the thing, and this will hit the news hard as bad publicity. so i guess you might be right, only other option is make the rebate instant. nothing says they cant just decide to keep it as is after. oh well i ordered mine and its waiting in the workshop for me to bring it home and jizz in my pants.

Hi, I am looking to add another line, and see that the Epic is now in the Student Rate store (not the Evo, but we're going for the Epic anyway). Is this an error, or has the original error been corrected?
Thanks, b/c I'm excited!

The problem with the sprint studentrate site has been fixed, so you can add a newline with epic.  make sure to enter your code (company association code) for the rebate and the free accessory.

umm u send a rebate check right? does the check have to be in the name of the owner of the primary line, or the student, i put my dad as primary, hes paying for my sh*t.

also as a note to everyone else, if u dont have credit and try to open a sprint account theyll want $250 deposit u wont get back for a year.
