Well we found a -300$ with "Sales Error Adjustment", so that would be the 100$ for each of our three phones. So yes, I'll send an email regarding the last 50$.

Edit:
Actually, it says 50$ to new accounts/lines.  We have two students on this account, so would that mean we'd both be getting -50$ the bill totaling 100$?

So sorry about the confusion!

Pls send me a copy of your e-mail as well with your order number and the name on the account.  Lets just make sure everything went through properly.  You can send me an e-mail at epic@studentrate.com

Hey Alex,

As you advised Sora, I will email you to make sure the order is correct.

However, I purchased the phone through the Sprint website and the initial box to enter the promo code by Sprint, SAVE50, was not there for me to enter it.  Also the box for the "company/association code" did not show up.

You advised twrex that the field would not show up until you go through the credit check and are ready to enter your payment information.  I did receive the message, "Thank you for your order! Reviewing your credit score is taking longer than expected. As part of processing your credit application, one of our representatives will contact you for additional information required to complete your order. Based on your credit history, a refundable service deposit may be required to activate your phone. Alternatively, you may call 1-866-860-6307 between 8AM - 11PM EST Monday through Friday to finalize your order."  So I don't know if that effected the box not showing up.

Will I need to cancel my order and make it again?  Or can you help me out?  The boxes for the codes did not show up.  I read through many of the posts before, and that does not seem to be an issue anyone else had.

Hi Jay,

It seems like the order did not go through but make sure you do not receive an email indicating the order is processed.  if the boxes did not appear probably there was some sort of an error on the site.  please pm me as to where i can reach you and we will process your order for you or call us after 9 am today and we can help. 781-497-5178.

I am assuming that we are supposed to get a confirmation email from. Sprint@studentrate.com after our order? Just want to make sure my email was received.

if you have placed the order through one of our private sprint stores and entered your studentrate promo code in the company/assiciation code and sent an email to sprint@studentrate.com you are all set and the rebate will be processed along with a car charger.

Recently there have been some  question on the Amazon Deal related to the Epic.  We have done some analysis and felt it would be helpful to post the comparison here. Let me know if any questions.

Amazon Deal = Epic 99+ activation 36 = $135
Studentrate Deal = Epic 249 - no activation $36 - $50 account credit - $25 studentrate rebate - $36 (value Car charger) = $102.00

Pleased to say $102.00 is a pretty good price.  Cheers

Thanks for clearing this up since I was unsure whether to purchase from Amazon or through here :)

The final word on the amazon situation as of this morning the amazon deal is over close to $185 for the epic vs $138.00 for the studentrate deal and $215.00 for the evo vs $88.00 for the studentrate deal.

I guess that puts that discount discussion on amazon vs studentrate  to rest.

I'm sure that this question has been asked fifty times, so I'm sorry if I'm beating it to death, but are people getting a 15%  or 23% discount? I wanted to know for sure before I actually place my order. I have 5 lines on my account, and 3 phones are students that are in college, including myself! Thanks Alex!

People are getting the 23%.  Given your situation I would call StudentRate ask for Julie or Alex and they will help.  How do I know, I dealt with both of them and they are very helpful.

Hey guys,

sorry of this has been answered before, but I didn't see anything pop up in my search.

Anyways, I received my Epic 4G the first week in September, but still haven't received the car charger.  Any word on when these will ship?

Thanks!

Timely, the car chargers shipped today and the checks will be sent tomorrow.  So you will be getting both next week.  Are you happy with the epic and the sprint experience.

Awesome news, thanks!

Overall I'm fairly happy with the Epic and the sprint experience so far.   I'm coming from Verizon Wireless, and the only issue that I've come across so far was that I get a message indicating that roaming charges may apply for data service in certain areas where I never got it with Verizon.

Does this work on SERO ? I currently pay $30/500Min/Data/Text/MMS. But, my usage is really low so I don't want to pay more. Sprint is asking for atleast $10/month more for newer phones and $20/month more for any 4G. Wondering if this deal can stack on top of those rates to bring back to $30 ?

you can change the settings so it stop telling you that. other than the retarded spring on the epic, the phone is great. samsung outsourced their own f**kin phone. for example, when you buy a samsung monitor, you used to have a 25% chance of getting one made by samsung and not hans g or whatever piss poor brands they used. well my uncle got an amazing epic, spring is solid like a rock, phone fells nice and dense. mine and my gf's the screen litterally shakes and rattles. i went to sprint store had it replaced with what i think may even be a worse phone. the spring was loose from the begining, the first took 3 days to get loose. my gf accidently did something where she fixed her spring, she doesnt know how, but it is slowly coming undone again.

as for sprint service, txts take too long to go through. verizon u send a txt 2 seconds later the person gets it. i stand next to my gf send her a txt, the txt can take anywhere from 2-10 sec to go thru to sprint and then there can be up to a few min before her phone gets it. i tested this while having the phones next to each other with okay signal. 4g is great but sparse. if the price of clearwire goes down a little and they put up one more cell site by my house for a more stable 4g signal then im sold. i clocked in 1MBps/8Mbps on my epic. at home i clock in about 3-6mbps on avg. my cable internet clocks in a stable avg of 6mpbs. LTE can lick my nuts WiMax is here to stay, especially if there is this socalled WiMax 2

oh the damn bloatware. a week or two after my first epic i got a software update. piece of sh*t put up a page of bloatware apps, most of which i had already in google maps. the rest are retarded like the mediahub. i wish i could get rid of all the bloatware without rooting it.

i got the 23% off, but they havent applied my 50/line, and i have 3 lines, so in theory 25$ a month for next 6 months.

oh and ty studentrate i got my chargers already, but no check but im guessing thats coming.

Alex, I emailed you about 2 weeks ago regarding the $50 invoice credit spread 50/50 over 2 bills and didn't get a response.

I received my first bill and there is no $25 credit to my bill and it looks like the second is the same.

I have received the car charger (wanted the protected skin) last week. I am content with the car charger.

Lastly, I have not received any rebate check.

Thanks Sherry.

Tip: you wont find the 25$/month credit on the front screen of your account/bill details. you need to click on the full detail link of your bill to notice they applied the credits. i called and then i realized that they did put it on.
