I ordered through the Cricket offer of $20.00 discount. The chat line opened while I was placing my order and the representative placed the order for me. How do I get my discount?  11/29/11 1:13pm ct

Please send me your order info -- the chances are if the rep placed the order we did not get the order credit and we can not provide the cash credit to your account if the vendor does not give us credit. But please send us the info and we will have a look and see if we can fix it for you.

Nothing yet.  My guess is we will not be able to get the credit as the transaction was not completed using the link from our site.  Once their rep takes over we loose credit and can not give you anything.

We are trying though.

The Rep said she hadn't heard of any discount from StudentRate.

I placed a second order from Cricket on 11/30. This time I went through and ordered directly through StudentRate's websie. It was shipped out the same day and I should have the order today. How long does it normally take for Cricket to issue a credit on Student Rate?

CRICKET OFFER
I've talked to Cricket directly. They are not offering any discounts on StudentRate.com.
The offer I responded to for $20.00 off a Cricket plan is not through Cricket. They said 3rd parties, such as StudentRate can make offers. So what steps do I take to get this discount? The only discounts Cricket offers from time-to-time would be on some of their phones.

That is correct it is our offer based on Crickets offer to us.  The whole process is automated so the $20.00 would have been deposited to your account (studentrate.com account) if you followed the process to purchase your plan.  This is exactly the reason why we want you to follow the process.  YOu have indicated you did and we have investigated to see whether there was a transaction -- unfortunately there is none.  We contacted Cricket to see whether they would give us credit for that transaction so that we can give you credit.  We are waiting as there are thousands of transactions on their end.

I have talked to Cricket and they do not have an offer to StudentRate.com I placed a second order through Cricket to make sure the process was followed correctly. There was no automated $20.00 deposit to my account because there is no $20.00 discount offer.

it is our offer.  and we have not seen the transaction -- if the type of offer is a cash back offer it usually is a StudentRate offer and it solely depends on the reporting that we receive from the vendor in this case Cricket.  Otherwise we have to give the $20.00 to everyone that send us a receipt -- we have to validate that the purchase was made through our link.

I have previously emailed you the information and have not received any discount deposited to my account. As mentioned, I made a second purchase to make certain to qualify for the discount yet no deposit was made to my account.

I appreciate that -- but please keep in mind we have not received a confirmation of the purchase from Cricket, once we do we will provide the deposit to your account.
