Where does the discount/rebate amount show up? I'm specifically interested in the iPhone 4, but it probably isn't worth it with a $36 activation fee when att online has none.

I dont think the iPhone is discountable. But is you want the att wireless here is the link for you to purchase the iphone 4 if you were to use this llink we can apply the monthly discount of 10%.   http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=YCxr64dg1hc&offerid=222015.10000669&type=3&subid=0

OK, thanks. I believe earlier in the thread you had said that it would work with the iphone, but its not really important anymore.  Would the 10% discount combine with the 20% that I can get from the Premier program or are they exclusive?  If they do stack, it would seem the way to go would be purchase through your link then afterwards apply the premier student discount to the account.  Thanks for the info.

Apple doesn't have a special education pricing for the iPhone. however, if you purchase it with our deal from the Apple Store, you are still eligible for the 1.5% cash back. This is the link to Apple deal

After you make an Apple purchase from the Apple store, your cash back will automatically be credited into your Studentrate account once your items are shipped. Once you get to $20 cash back you will be able to cash out. You can check your pending/available cash back at any time by clicking on the $ amount next to your name on the top right corner. Hope that answers your questions!

yes we just increased it to 3% cash back.  I think it was effective yesterday 6/30/11.  the system will automatically give you the right cash back from the date it went into effect you dont need to do anything.

The 3% cash back just posted to my account, but it's only showing up for the AppleCare plan and not for the computer purchase, even though I used the link. What's up with that?

Edit: Nevermind; it just appeared!

I am glad it did.  Apple basically gets posted when it ships.  If you get a shipment notification from Apple and the cash back does not show up on your StudentRate cash back account please let us know.

I'm new to this... so say I got a Macbook Pro ($2000), a printer ($150-300), and Adobe Creative Suites ($449) - would the 3% cash back discount work on all of those?  If so, how do you go about collecting it from here?  Is it in a credit card form, can it be put in a bank account, does a check get mailed, etc?

Yes it would -- the only restriction is iPad and iPad 2 (there are one or two more items).  You will get the cash back amount posted on your studentrate account when the items get shipped to you from apple. and after the return period (I think 90 days) the funds in your studentrate account (3% of the total you spend with apple -- taxes and shipping excluded) will become available for withdrawal and you have the option for paypal transfer or check to be issued.

hope this answers your question.

If my school gives me a discount already (via USave), can I combine it with the cash back?

NC State has a tax free weekend starting on August 5th and ends on August 7th. Can I club the 3% Studentrate Cash back along with Apple education pricing and NC State Tax Exemption? I am going to join University of Florida, Fall 2011. But right now I am in North Carolina and the shipping address will be in NC state.

I got a bunch of stuff in one order from the Apple store but it seems like not everyhting will ship at the same time... How does that affect the cash back? do you wait until the last item is shipped?
