After quite a few different discussions -- it looks like we may have a solution for the resumption of the Sprint deal.  The reason it was pulled out in the first place had to do with the qualifications for the monthly discounts.  We will be implementing a solution that maybe online but in the interim we maybe able to process orders manually.

We appreciate your patience and apologize for the inconvenience.  We will be making the announcement shortly.

Thanks

So when this sprint offer comes back what will be the percentage off of monthly bill?  (23% or 10%)  I know the 23% was just for Rhode Island university people which is probably why this issue arose in the first place (people lying that they were attending there but were not).  However, wouldn't it be discriminating to only offer 23% just to those students?

On one hand I agree with you, on the other hand we would like to offer the discount that people qualify for while we are working to get a percentage for all of our members that would be as attractive.

I completely understand where you are coming from and I'm sure everyone here, including myself,  appreciates what your site offers.  However, I'm just curious what makes them qualify for a 23% discount and the rest of the nation (if being honest) only gets 10%.

The deal is back up.  It is manual processing for the time being and we will update the site as we have more developments from Sprint.

Thanks for this. Do the students still qualify for 23% discount? Please let us know.

Hey Alex,
I have a question, my girlfriend and I are both eligible for upgrades. We both have Sprint accounts, but we want to get a family plan so we pay one bill. We both would like to upgrade to the EVO, and take advantage of the discount. What would be the best way to do this(if we even can do it). I also would like to know if we would be eligible for the rebates? $50.00 Credit to New Lines , $25.00 rebate from StudentRate for New Line, and/or $20.00 Rebate from StudentRate.
thanks

No it is not.  Provide the information that is listed on the form and the discounts maybe better than 23% Mr. Phoneguy promises he will do his best to get the best discounts for everyone that maybe eligible for it.  So there maybe a pleasant surprise for you.

I don't know what his process is but knowing him he will get you the best discount you are eligible for make that because of your school or employment or your family's employer.  He is the man :)

it should be within hours.  but the process is new so I would imagine they are working through kinks.  let me know if you do not get a call back within 24 hours

If we already have the phone and are looking to get the monthly reoccurring discount, which form is it that we are suppose to fill out. When I talked to Sprint chat earlier they said that the organization does not receive a discount. I'm a tad bit confused.

you can send an email to sprint@studentrate.com or just email the form to the same email address as the submit button is suppose to email the form to the same email address.

So will those of us who purchased an evo from somewhere else still be eligible to receive the monthly discount on our current account even if the phone wasn't ordered through studentrate?
