I am a freshmen in college and will not become an 18 year for quite a while. I would like to get my own cell phone plan with one of the discounts here but I can not legally sign a contract with the coverage companies as a minor.
Is there anyway I can have the account in a parent's name but still use the discount code here?

You certainly can do that. Given you are a student you can take advantage of the discounts whether it is your name or your parents name it does not make a difference. Let us know if you need further assistance.
