Just to clarify, once I receive my EVO and my wife's EVO we then call into Sprint to activate them and port our numbers over from AT&T and T-Mobile? Can we do this at my local store? From there we are set up with our monthly family plan?

I just don't want to delay my EVO usage! BigGrin

Hi Rehud,

The phones will have a sprint assigned number when you receive them. Simply call and migrate your t-mobile and att numbers it will take 24 hours for them to complete this process and you will have your number migrated. you can also make the pkan changes and everything over the phone. unless the sprint store is somewhere you like to visit -- you can do the whole thing over the phone BigGrin

Confused Since the Sprint.com website now has the HTC EVO's in stock... Why aren't they available on the Studentrate/Sprint website? Are we to order them from Sprint now that they are available? I'm not sure how this process is supposed to work. Will someone be contacting us to let us know when/if our orders will be placed? Please explain.

Thx

If I didn't fill the pre-order form.. Should I fill it out now or just wait for the EVO to show up on the studentrate site?

Has anyone received their order forms yet or seen any activity on their bank accounts because I haven't seen either yet and I was in the first 10 to download the form.

Thanks to all who reply in advance.

Nothing yet in my email accounts or bank account. According to an announcement, EVO ran out stock AGAIN but this time, it shouldn't last that long for restock. We'll just have to keep waiting. I've been waiting ... what, two weeks or so now...*sighs*

It should be 199.00 + tax with no mail in rebate required. The latest word is EVO inventory should be replenished this week over the next few days.

It will depend. when i look the channel for the prices it does display the net result with the special discount. You can see the final price on those on our regular sprint studentrate web site even though those do not display the epic and evo they display everything else.

I am having a bit of a problem with setting the account up with my type of account. I've sent a direct question regarding this through email and PM.

Hi Alex,

I am an existing customer and want to migrate my current plan and upgrade my phone. How do I go about that? I am on a SERO plan so can I switch to everything plus plan and upgrade my phone and get a discount apply to the plan? Please advise.

thanks,

Peter
