I added everything to my cart but only the phone reflected the discount, am I doing something wrong?

No you are not, it should have also reflected the waived activation fee as well, all the other prices you see are before discount and they will be reflected on your first bill.

I just tried to purchase an iPhone the activation fee is listed on the total price. Are they going to issue a credit ?? I am a little confused.

The activation fee should be waived. I have informed our ATT contact and they are going to be reflecting this on the web-site, in the meantime, you can go ahead and make your purchases and if you get charged the activation fee during checkout send us your new ATT Wireless phone number to info@studentrate.com and we will pass it along to ATT for them to credit your account. But this issue on the web-site will be corrected within days.

I had to enter a studentrate email address and it was my first name and last name munkherdeneenkhbaatar@studentrate.com is that right? It says I will receive an email confirmattion. But I dont have this email account, I'm I supposed to get one? By the way firstname.lastname@studentrate.com it says does it mean there has to be a dot inbetween. I'm comfused. I just wanted to enroll in the discount. Think Confused , Did I do it right?

Hey I just joined this site to take advantage of the AT&T (and hopefully other) deal(s). I am not having any luck getting the at&t deal to work. I am not seeing this place where I enter the studentrate e-mail. I got all the way to shipping info and never saw anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

EDIT:I believe I found the area where I enter the email address, but it needs an AT&T number as well...which I don't have. =/

Hey Orlandomatic. Are you migrating your account or are you new to ATT.

Missed the edit -- You enter it at the bottom of the checkout. If any questions just send us an e-mail at info@studentrate.com.

The same with me. I am trying to take advantage of this deal...10% off occurring monthly charges and waived activation fee, which is very much bc AT&T is one of the most expensive company next to Verizon. But once I choose phone, data plan, and features the discount is not reflecting in my payment summary at checkout.

The activation fee issue on your checkout is being fixed by ATT, in the meantime, go ahead and make your purchase and send your phone number to info@studentrate.com along with your name we will have AT&T credit your account. Thanks.

I just wanted to drop a note and inform all that iPhone is listed on the AT&T Studentrate co-branded site.  The discount of the plans will not show up as reduced by 10% when you are checking out during your purchase, rather be taken off from your monthly bill and the line item will say "National Discounts" under credits and adjustments.  As to the waived activation AT&T is working on this issue for the time being after you make your purchase send us an e-mail at info@studentrate.com and we will have AT&T issue a credit to your account for $36.00 (which is equal to activation fee).

Hope this helps

If I want to have 3 lines on a familyplan, I get charged $9.99 for both the 2nd and 3rd line, even though a familyplan includes two lines, also, will I get credited for all 3 activation fees? thanks

Hey there, I was just curious at exactly what part of the process we are supposed to enter this email, I have seen two places were you can enter an email but neither mention studentrate or anything that seems relevant.

The first time is at the first checkout screen where it is asking me "Where would you like to receive the offers?"
The second time is under billing and payment options for my billing contact information.

Are either of those the one I want, or did I miss a step?

Also just to clarify, neither the waiving of the activation fee or the reduction to the monthly bill will be visible at any time during the purchasing process, I will only see it when I receive my first bill and when they credit my account. Is that correct?

The e-mails to be on the safe side enter them whenever there is an e-mail entry is requested.  And you are correct in the discounts as to where they are going to appear.  Hope this helps

Ah, ok, so the email is only a precaution.

Also, I do have a similar question to the person above me, if we do a family plan are all the activation fees credited?
